The salts of your body
flow
raw
with mint
and cinnamon sticks
tobacco and
thin rolling papers
made from
strips of tea-trees
you emit
fragrant
morning smells
like a tub
filled with water
hot
clean
soiled only
by human skin,

you, like folds
lush pockets of
earth
damp
silent
overturning with
rain
breaths of warmth
against
bitterness,
you the wind
you the West
the pulling
of fields
touched
by light,

arms
twisted by sleep,
words
slip
your lips
a careless
cave,
awaiting
open
no judgment
a frothy seal,
your body
tangles
rustles
like dried petals
traveling
across the forest
floor.
